once again that time of year when the champions are linked with anyone and everyone..if we sign them all we would have a tremendous pool size and not necessary a quality pool at that ??

I am asking the question to open the forum on this..who do we sign and who do we let go ???

One i dont want to see is the self confessed drum beater from Belfast over rated over priced blue nose..from the championship league...let the huns sign him..

I agree with you on lafferty cant see what all the fuss is about him his track record as a striker is crap and is he any better that what we have got.

If we can 2m for naylor take it if we can get 3-4m for donatti take it.

I hope strachan is looking at Euros for an experienced centre half and classy left back and a real midfield holding player to protect our back 4 from pace.

I would love to see 1 real big out of the ordinary buy a name to lift the fans and not buy the tedious junk the huns are scratching around for,we need class for Europe if we are ever going to get further and I am quite sure within some of the teams in the Euros that type of player is there and available at the right money in teams like Romania,Croatia Czech republic and Russia.

we made our first signing, not exactly a euro 2008 star, just another squad player. Like other web sites I have been on i doubt we will sign the Russian lad for 6 or 8 million, we may have the money but i think he is looking to play in one of the bigger leagues..but showing ambition if we make a move, better condition than the huns...6 million on two strikers that scored 16 goals in 80 games between them ?????
Agree we need a good left back..i would say perhaps a right back also...i reckon WGS is going with Caldwell ..who actually ended the season ok for me ...
Midfield ??? Robson..and Brown ...Hartley will play a bit part,
Upfront Mcdonald..not the best but his goals say it all, but lacking a yard or two in pace to make him a real top drawer player ..

anyway lets see what happens in next few weeks

Really disappointed that our 1st signing was a 100K from Eircom League has the huns laughing at us and making their 3m+ deal for Lafferty look good.They could have hushed this up until a major signing had been completed.
Pavylechenko maybe looking for bigger but EPL top 4 dont seem to be bothered and he has savoured parkhead atmosphere,the bigger clubs in Europe haven't been mentioned so may still be a possible I hope so.

Would also go for Russian left back Zhirkov but suspect he will go to a massive club.

I hope we get a major signing from WGS being at Euros to take the some of the pressure off and really stick it to the huns who are bringing in strikers they can only play 1 at a time and still have pretty pish defence
