CELTIC FC 6 Months ago Karma: 0
After the weekend result I am as gutted as everyone else that has this club at heart..if only our overpaid stars felt the same, and i think we all know which players.

What do we do now gents...lets open a discussion on this..gut feelings are get rid of our manager. However the gut feeling was supressed by reality of the failure...not just failing but the manner of the situation we have found ourselves in.

I think gut feeling is always the best I think strachan should go.He got lucky in his 2 title wins because the huns were so poor but the writing was on the wall back end of last season we stumbled to the title and won a turgid cup final against a team who got relegated. His inflexilblity to justify playing the same midfield week in week out when they are creating nothing bringing Donatti in on saturday in a must win game is nonsense he is 1 of the worst ever at parkhead he contributes nothing.Naka creates nothing in open play and has done all season, once Mcgeady got his rave reviews hasn't kicked a ball since.the defence couldn't keep weans out a close we allegedly create 20 odd chances other team creates 1 and scores the 2 aberdeen games the dun utd ,the rangers game and now motherwell nad strachan goes on with same game plan total inabilty to change it due to being stubborn and I know best and the smart-arsed interviews piss me right off as if everything is everybody elses fault

Names banding around Celtic cyber at present: Mark Mcghee. Roy Keane and Tony Mowbry.
I dont think the board will move Strachan! If they keep him then i wonder why they cannot see his lack tactical awareness.
Every HUN reporter is spinning this out, WE as Celtic supporters are hurting we all see what has happened on the pitch...why does he continually play below average players..and refuse to change tactics until last 5 mins of a game..
It stinks of lack of leadership. The Deek Riordan affair..if the bhoy is not good enough then let him go..now we are in a tit-for-tat fight again manager against players ..the HUNS reporters jumping on every opportunity to slate us.

We will of course come back..but need a good footbal man and leader..CELTIC minded not essential.

Keane won't go,Mowbray won't go,McGhee track record is as bad as Strachan's (both said Adam Virgo was a star nuff said) done OK with Motherwell but is he really good enough to take us further than Strachan.Read an an article about Croatia manager Slaven Bilic saying he would walk to Glasgow if the job was available so maybe his international experience and knowledge of eastern block players would unearth some hidden talents. I think we should be using guys like Lubo Moravcik in that role in these areas of the world. We have too many average players like Killen, wilson caldwell naylor donatti guys who would really struggle to get in any decent team and should never be at Parkhead. They are all cheap options except donatti who was expensive mistake.

I also feel that Strachan is NOT the man to drive Celtic forward, (never did think that), BUT lets be relaistic who else would be an asset in the job?

A Foreigner? (Paul le Gers..remember him?)dont want a foreigner
Ex-Celts?
Inexperienced for job are : J.Collins / P.Grant /
N.Lennon / H.Larsson / P.Lambert etc

Managers on the go right now?
Mowbery?? McGhee? Levein? would they do anything different from Strachan?

Strachan has lost the dressing room with his school teacher / dogmatic / am always right attitude

Why do we draw on a big notepad for 10-15 minutes before making a substitution?
''Hey, son, see they goals ower there....go and put the ba' in there and win us the game...simple?

Guys to go? Donati / Wilson / Doumbe / Naylor / M.Brown / Riorden (not his fault tho) / V of H? / Pressley / Balde??

Bring in? Lafferty (Burnley)?

Will we spend? how big? manager uncertain to be there so unless we decide to keep him and give him dosh, we may end up bargain hunting after everyone else has had their pick!!!

Why not blood Caddis / O'Dea / Hutchieson / Mizuno / Sheridan / on a more regular basis?

any thoughts???

Ralph
