We have been put out of europe and domestic cups now, of course defeat in europe to one of the best teams in the world just now has to be considered. However I thought we could go on and dominate the Scottish scene. Statistics show we are highest goals for and least against?? is it correct to blame defence..what about our midfield the most costly in Scotland..

lies, damned lies, and statistics,I think defensively the 2 centre halves lack pace and ability,Naylor has been shocking getting caught out by a man inside him too often and Hinkel not fit enough yet.My concern is the creativity of midfield and what they didn't create in 2 games against Aberdeen,Maybury had McGeady in his pocket, Nakamura creates nothing in open play, Donatti is useless and Brown looks like he has had better offer and wants to go.Any chance we had were created between the strikers trying to link up.

Scott Brown would be of better use if given support from an experienced holding midfield player..Donatti and Sno not the Answer.
The same can be said for our captain..who has not tackled since he broke that lads leg at Falkirk ??

Agree the strikers need support, more linking with midfield is required.

For Ibrox this week Iwould drop Naka ?? we need more heart as Rngers will be up for a battle again.

I would go 3 at the back against the huns cos they will play 1 up front,if we go 4-4-2 we will get overrun because naka and mcgeady are too lightweight and they will have the clogging midfield of McCulloch Adam et al,and I would use Samaras up front with JVOH because it will give Weir who is slow more to think about.

Team Boruc

Caldwell Balde McManus

Hinkel Brown Hartley Robson Mcgeady

Samaras JVOH

I agree, and hope Gordon Strachan has learned the lessons from last visit to Ibrox. We cannot afford to be bullied again in such a fashion..you need to win the battles then get the football going.
Balde is interesting comment, he would certainly give them something to worry about in set pieces.

Reason I opted for Balde is that he wont be bullied or intimidated by Darcheville who will be their 1 striker. The huns know a draw will do them at moment and I dont think they will go for win big time they will try to play it like European game and hit on break.
